Frank Burgess

Frank Burgess is an animation director and illustrator with a passion for storytelling and for bringing his distinct drawings to life. Inspired watching the Jungle Book in art college he has been obsessed with the process of synchronising animation with music ever since. His greatest strength lies in collaborating and refining ideas with others to produce unique concepts and designs to delight clients.

Frank graduated from the NFTS in 2019 with his animated musical film ‘Mother’s Ruin’, starring Paul Whitehouse and Jaime Winstone. His 2018 short film ‘If I could talk to me’ was awarded an Advocacy co-production award in 2018 and his 2011 homage to 1990s hip hop sampling – ‘Dr Cecil’s Sound Surgery’ – was Nominated for a British Animation Award.
